Terms & Conditions
1. GENERAL
The terms and conditions set out below are applicable to the supply of products made by BuyDirect 4U to the buyer, hereafter referred to as the Customer.
2. PRIVACY
- 2.1 From time to time we will send customers promotional offers & updates via email. Any customer wishing to deactivate this update, reply stop to the email and your details will be deactivated from our mailing list.
- 2.2 We do not make use of Cookies.
- 2.3 We do not collect information deemed "sensitive" under the Data Protection Act 1998. Your address details (but NOT your credit card details, see below) are retained on a restricted access system within our internal systems which is in keeping with both our security policy and the law.
3. PRICING
- 3.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds sterling & include VAT
4. PAYMENT
- 4.1 Payments must be made in Pounds sterling only, unless otherwise specified, by one of the following payment methods:
- Major credit cards as listed: MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta.
- We collect payment via Paypal or Sagepay this is secure and safe.
5. TRANSFER OF RISK
The risk in the goods shall fully pass to the Customer once the goods have been delivered by our nominated transport provider and signed for.
6. DELIVERY
- 6.1 SHIPPING:
All products are despatched from our warehousing facilities. Unless requested by the Customer, all products must be signed for at the time delivery is made. The Customer must request any alternative delivery method at the time of the ordering which may incur a surcharge and goods will be despatched at the Customers own risk. We send our small items with either Royal Mail or DHL and large items on a pallet with ETS. Our Pallet service is a one man delivery so the customer will be responsible for providing assistance on any large item that needs this. If a two man delivery is required. There will be an additional surcharge and you will need to contact us directly to arrange payment for this. - 6.2 SHIPPING CHARGES:
All the products contained on our website are delivered to the vast majority of the U.K. mainland. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and the Scottish Isles & Highlands (POST CODES DD,PA, PH, AB, IV, KW) carry additional carriage charges. Please call us to confirm these charges prior to ordering. - 6.3 DELIVERY DATE:
Buy Direct 4U aim to deliver all goods within seven working days from processing of payment. Any orders which will exceed 7 days to fulfil, the Customer will be notified in writing via email and will be offered the option of order cancellation and a refund of payment. Buy Direct 4U cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers or transport providers. - 6.4 EXPRESS SHIPPING:
In many cases we are able to ship orders on a "Next Day" delivery basis for an additional charge. If you require this service please enquire with us to confirm the availability of the product and the additional cost for transportation prior to ordering.
7. ACCEPTANCE
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time period after delivery, and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods, unless, within a reasonable time period after their delivery the Customer notifies BuyDirect4u that the goods are rejected. If no notification of rejection is received, Buy Direct 4U will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose and therefore reserve the right not to accept any rejection of goods at a later date.
Buy Direct 4U will not be liable for any parcel signed for as "Received in good condition". The liability for signing for goods is with the customer and items need to be checked before signing.8. RETURNS PROCEDURE
- 8.1 We offer a 14 day returns period. If the goods are rejected within the time scale as defined in clause 6, the Customer shall comply with the Buy Direct 4U returns procedure as defined below. BuyDirect 4U will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.
- 8.2 The Customer must contact BuyDirect 4U by either telephone or by e-mail to obtain a returns authorisation. The customer is responsible for returning the goods within 14 days of receiving unused and in their original packaging in a saleable condition unless the item is damaged or faulty.
- 8.3 In cases where the faulty or damaged goods are rejected within a 14 days, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to the location specified by BuyDirect 4U before the refund or replacement can be issued. Refunds are made within 30 days of cancellation. If the item is large / oversized, the collection driver will need assistance loading onto the collection vehicle as we offer a one man service only as per clause 6.1
- 8.3 If when a faulty or damaged item returns, and no fault or damage is found, we reserve the right to deduct the collection charges from the final refund balance.
- 8.4 Any Quad bike that has been registered in a customers name using the COC certificate is exempt from our returns policy. We are unable to refund a registered bike.
9. CANCELLATIONS
- 9.1 Cancellations are only accepted if the Customer complies with BuyDirect 4U cancellation procedure and before any goods have been despatched. If the order has been despatched prior to the cancellation, the returns procedure as defined in clause 7 (8.2 and 8.3) above will apply. If the procedure is not followed, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
- 9.2 Cancellations can be made either by telephone or by e-mail directly with BuyDirect 4U . Please remember, order despatch normally takes place the same day as payment is processed.
- 9.3 Cancellations and returns requests made after a product has been delivered and is deemed fit for purpose need to be authorised by BuyDirect 4U and given an appropriate returns number. The cost and risk of returning these goods is solely the customers. A credit will only be made once the returned goods have been inspected and deemed fit for resale. BuyDirect 4U can organise the collection of these goods and the cost subtracted from the amount to be credited to the customer or the goods can be shipped and paid for by the customer on their own nominated carrier with the appropriate insurance cover. Returned goods must be in their original packaging, complete with non of the internal packaging having been opened.
10. LAW
These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with U.K. Law.
11. WARRANTY'S
Some of our products carry warranty's. The periods of these warranty's are stated in each individual product specification where applicable. Our warranty's cover parts and labour on manufacturing defects. Our warranty's do not cover, miss use or incorrect use of the product. Batteries on all of our products are covered by 6 month warranty's as these will wear out over time depending on use.
If you need to return a product for a warranty repair, please either return to us at Buy Direct 4U, Central House, Jubilee Drive, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 5TP or we can arrange a collection of the product for you. (Please note we reserve the right to charge the customer for any collection of a warranty repair item. Our warranty's cover parts and labour only.) Please contact us for further information.
12. PROMOTIONAL CODES
- 12.1 Promotional codes provide a discount on all products, including previously discounted items, purchased in a single transaction.
- 12.2 Unless otherwise stated promotional codes are one use per customer and cannot be used after the expiration period.
- 12.3 Offers may be amended or withdrawn at any time at the Promoter's discretion.
- 12.4 The return value of the item(s) purchased using the discount shall be the applicable return value under BuyDirect4U's return policy less the discount obtained.
- 12.5 No cash or any other alternative will be given.
