The beginning of a new chapter…

As part of a huge company rebrand, we’ve combined with our ever-expanding brand, BuyDirect4U, to form a new and fresh Charles Bentley.
We are global suppliers of stylish and fantastic quality home, garden and leisure products. So, why rebrand? It’s simple – we want to deliver a new level of consumer and brand awareness and part of that is having a strong brand identity that clearly communicates who we are and what we offer.
Charles Bentley has been around since 1860, when we originally provided brushes for Victorian chimney sweepers! We’ve passed our knowledge and innovation down through the generations to help create a close-knit team of experts who are always ready to help.
Fast-forward to 2005, when we launched BuyDirect4U to sell on excess Charles Bentley stock. The brand just kept growing and it soon specialised in stylish and affordable home, garden & leisure products. By 2016, we were trading globally to over 31 countries and became providers to three large retailers in the UK, including Tesco!
Through merging Charles Bentley with BuyDirect4U, we’ve brought two fantastic brands together and expanded our product offering even further.
From dining sets to outdoor toys for the kids and all things in between, we take the hard work out of shopping for your home by giving you thousands of products to choose from. We leave no stone unturned and keep an eye on the latest trends so that you’ll always find something fresh and up to date – just without the designer price tag!
Our values are still the same and we’re committed to making it easier to love your home more by helping you discover stylish and great value products you’ll love for years to come. We only stock products we’re proud to put our name on and will always aim to exceed your expectations.
As part of our growth over the last few years, we’ve been able to launch our Dropship service, the easy and affordable way for retailers to expand their online product ranges without major upfront investment. Our 202,000 square foot warehouse in the Midlands allows us to effectively stock, pick, pack and dispatch products directly to customers on behalf of retailers.
We’re really excited for the future and have lots of reasons to be. For a start, we’re going to have more products than ever. There’ll be loads of new product developments to share (keep an eye out for the Spring Fair in 2020!) and we’re also expanding into new markets, including Poland, Germany, Canada, Spain and France.
Plus, we’ve also launched our new Charles Bentley Plastic Free range this year, in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society who work tirelessly to ensure our seas are healthy, pollution-free and protected. Our Plastic Free range includes brooms and cleaning solutions for around the home, made from sustainable and high quality, natural minerals. We’re proud to say that our Plastic Free products will be stocked in Sainsbury’s and many of the UK’s leading retailers.
